The purpose of NATIONAL TEACHERS' AWARDS is to celebrate the unique contribution of some of the finest teachers in the country and to honor those teachers who through their commitment and industry have not only improved the quality of school education but also enriched the lives of their students.

National Mission for Mentoring

NMM aims to create a large pool of outstanding professionals (Mentors), who are willing to provide short- and long-term professional support and cross-learning among school teachers (Mentees), contributing to their continuous professional development/ capacity building. Accordingly, NMM-The Bluebook, a guiding document was launched by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
