The Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released a new recruitment notification for 357 vacancies for the post of Works Supervisor in the Public Works (R&B) Department, Jammu & Kashmir under direct recruitment. The notification has been released based on the Indent received vide PWD-ADM/122/2021-05[86549] dated 11.03.2026 followed by dated 19.06.2026. The posts are divided across two divisional cadres – Jammu (194 posts) and Kashmir (66 posts) under Item Nos. 95 and 96 respectively. The online application window opens on 01 August 2026 and the last date to apply is 30 August 2026. Eligible J&K Domicile candidates must apply online at jkssb.nic.in.

Candidates must be Domicile(s) of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and must possess a valid Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed format on or before the cut-off date i.e. 30 August 2026.

Selection for the post of Works Supervisor will be made purely on the basis of merit obtained in the Written / OMR Based Examination only. There is no interview for this post.
